When the catalog can't do it, we build it

Every off-the-shelf LED display is a compromise. It comes in fixed module sizes, a handful of pixel pitches, and a housing designed for the average job rather than yours. When your project is not average — an irregular stage sculpture, a curved architectural facade, a vehicle integration, a display that has to survive both a festival field and a rooftop in July — the catalog runs out of answers. That is where LVN Displays begins. We are not a reseller who orders panels and bolts them together; we are the inventors and fabricators who engineer LED from the circuit board up, in our own shop in Las Vegas. If you dream it, we build it, and we build it to a spec no distributor can match.

The team behind every custom build is Navy-trained, with four decades of hands-on engineering experience lighting some of the most demanding productions in the world. That background matters when a project has zero tolerance for failure — a live concert with no second take, a political rally broadcast to millions, a permanent installation that has to run flawlessly for years. Our engineers design their own printed circuit boards for pixel density and energy efficiency, apply our patented UV coating to make true outdoor performance possible at fine pixel pitches, and hand-assemble each unit rather than trusting an anonymous import line. The same technology that makes our mobile billboards the brightest on the road is available to be shaped into whatever your concept requires.

Any pixel pitch, any size, any environment

A custom build starts with a blank sheet. Need a razor-sharp 3MM face for close-up viewing in a retail atrium? Done. Need a rugged, high-brightness coarse-pitch wall for a stadium concourse seen from a distance? Also done. We fabricate in fully custom dimensions — tall and narrow, wide and short, curved, segmented, or freestanding — and we build for indoor halls and open-air installations alike, thanks to the patented UV coating that other manufacturers simply do not have. Power is engineered around your site: grid-tied for a permanent build, generator-fed for a touring rig, or battery-driven for a mobile or off-grid activation. Whatever the constraints, we design the display to fit them rather than forcing your vision to fit a product line.

Engineering that starts with the hard questions

The difference between a display that works and one that merely lights up is in the questions asked before fabrication begins. How far away will the average viewer stand, and does that argue for a fine or a coarse pixel pitch? What is the real power budget on site, and can the load be split cleanly across circuits? Will the panel bake in afternoon sun, freeze overnight, or take spray from a fountain nearby? How is content getting to the screen, and who is driving it during the show? Our Navy-trained engineers work through these details with you up front, because every one of them changes the board layout, the coating, the power design, and the housing. Answering them early is why our builds hold calibration in the field instead of surprising everyone on install day. It is unglamorous engineering discipline — and it is exactly what a one-of-a-kind display demands when there is no second unit to fall back on.

American-made, warrantied, and built to last

Because we manufacture in the United States, you get direct access to the people building your display. There is no time-zone lag, no translation gap, and no mystery supply chain — you talk to the engineer who is soldering your boards. That control is why we can promise a typical three-to-six-week turnaround when other custom shops quote two to four months, and it is why every custom build ships with our five-year warranty, the longest standard in the industry. Our panels are rated at over 100,000 hours of service, so a permanent custom installation keeps performing for decades, not seasons. When you invest in a one-of-a-kind display, you should expect it to outlast the campaign that inspired it — and ours do.

Custom work is also collaborative work. We have engineered displays for concerts and touring productions, political campaigns, professional and collegiate sports, national retail rollouts, and experiential brand activations that had to stop traffic and start conversations. Some clients arrive with a finished CAD drawing and a load calculation; others arrive with a napkin sketch and a deadline. Either is a fine starting point. Our process is built to take a concept from wherever it lives today through design, fabrication, rigorous testing, and delivery, with clear checkpoints along the way so there are no surprises on install day. The sections below walk through exactly how a custom LVN build comes together, what a realistic timeline looks like, and the handful of details we need from you to start engineering. When you are ready to turn an idea into a display no one else can make, call LVN Displays at 1 (800) 737-8178.

From concept to delivery in four steps

1 · Design

We translate your concept, sketch, or CAD file into an engineered spec — pixel pitch, dimensions, structure, power, and content plan, confirmed with you before a single board is cut.

2 · Fabricate

Our Navy-trained team builds it in Las Vegas: custom PCBs, patented UV coating, and hand-assembly. Made in America, start to finish.

3 · Test

Every unit is burned in and calibrated for brightness, color, and uniformity, then stress-tested against the real conditions it will face on site.

4 · Deliver

We ship, install, and commission the display, then back it with a 5-year warranty and direct support from the people who built it.

What we've built before

Concerts & Touring

Stage sculptures, backdrop walls, and rigging-ready panels for live productions where there is no second take.

Political Campaigns

Rally backdrops and mobile messaging built to broadcast clean, bright, and reliable to huge live and televised audiences.

Sports

Concourse walls, ribbon boards, and fan-zone displays for professional and collegiate venues.

Retail

Atrium features, storefront statements, and national rollout hardware engineered to a consistent brand spec.

Experiential

Brand activations and installations designed to stop traffic, start conversations, and generate shareable moments.

One-of-a-Kind

Curved facades, vehicle integrations, and off-grid builds — the projects other shops turn down, we take on.

Three to six weeks, phase by phase

Most custom builds move from approved spec to delivered display in three to six weeks — roughly half the time other custom shops quote. The exact schedule depends on size, complexity, and finish, but the phases are always the same.

Five details to start engineering

Have these ready when you call and we can scope your build on the first conversation. Don't have them all yet? A sketch and a deadline are enough to begin.

  • Dimensions — target width and height, plus any shape, curve, or mounting constraints.
  • Power — what's available on site: grid, generator, or battery, and any amperage limits.
  • Content — what you'll display, at what resolution, and how it will be fed to the screen.
  • Location — indoor or outdoor, the environment, and how the display will be installed or transported.
  • Timeline — your in-service date and any hard deadlines we need to build backward from.
